23: Bolero
A founding member of the foppish Catalonian pseudoschool ‘The Picadors’, Bolero argued that there is no such thing as time; there is only decay. His denial of time has been widely ridiculed whilst the centrality of decay to social thought has always been universally accepted as a banal truism.
He was shot by a firing squad in 1878 for boring Prince Ferdinand at a social function at the University of Jerez.
